Biography

Allan Cervin is a curious and determined individual driven by the desire to create movement and to challenge where others see, or become trapped in, stagnation. He thrives at the intersection of creativity, ideas and action, where strategy meets reality and where the will to create change, both within himself and in society, turns into tangible progress. He describes himself as impatient with the status quo but patient with people, a balance that enables him to unite and motivate others around a shared goal.

He seeks meaning and direction in everything he does and views both work and leisure as part of the same journey to learn, understand and challenge himself and the world around him. Whether at sea, in the mountains or in nature, he finds a sense of calm, perspective and precision. He sails, dives, practises long-range shooting, flies drones and takes a deep interest in technology, defence, financial services and societal development, always with the same combination of curiosity, discipline and responsibility.

Allan is the father of an adult daughter, whom he loves above all else in the universe, and who will complete her master’s degree at CBS next year. He lives in Hørsholm and spends much of his time at Rungsted Sailing Club and marina. He values the freedom to travel, explore and work internationally, while staying true to his Danish roots and his down-to-earth approach to people.

Professionally, Allan has worked in major corporate organisations such as CGI, iPipeline, Allianz Trade, Oracle and SAS Institute, focusing on international business development, sales and leadership across technology, financial services and other industries. He has also contributed to smaller companies such as BIWise and his own venture, aPoint. Allan holds an MBA from AVT Business School and currently leads the initiatives NorthStone Consulting and OpenBridge Network, both founded on his core belief that progress happens when people share knowledge, accountability and purpose.
